Hier rückt die Musik schon sehr stark in Richtung Blaxploitation und hat viel mehr mit Isaac Hayes, als mit dem Philly Soul gemein. Jones braucht man eh nichts mehr sagen und danach kommt mit ‚Am I Black Enough For You‘ das wohl politischste und zwingendste Statement, das Paul je veröffentlicht hat.
Paul’s Interpretation von Carole King’s ‚It’s Too Late‘ kommt sehr smooth und groovy und hängt eigentich sogar die Isaah Hayes Version ab. noch an den Whitfield-Motown Sound jener Zeit an, ebenso das dramatische ‚I’m Just A Prisoner‘.
